“Lil” Ernie Hatfield has been a fixture in the Colorado blues scene for over 30 years, lending his keyboard and vocal talents to a myriad of projects. He is currently playing with two diversely different blues bands: Blue Recluse, a five piece ensemble featuring a standout female vocalist in Shawntel Royal; and Mo’ Champipple, a hard hitting eight piece funk blues band complete with horn section.
Friday, May 26 – Blue Recluse will host a CD release party at the High Side Bar & Grill in Salida at 7 pm! We’ll have 2 new CDs, hot off the press- available for sale. Rarely Fatal is our album of mostly original songs plus we’re releasing a LIVE album of gig favorites and some of our best originals.
